• This is the old Washington Street Bridge which has been converted into a pedestrian mall near the west end of the park.  The median contains large scuptures of various types.  Washington Street (U.S. Highway 40) is now diverted south around the park to a newer bridge.  It is a favoite place for people to walk and enjoy a respite from the urban center of Indianapolis.
