- This is Sedalia, Indiana; all of Sedalia, Indiana! Welcome to rural Indiana. Located on Indiana Highway 26 between Kokomo and Lafayette, many travelers consider Sedalia just a bump in the road, but it's more than that to those who live and work there. The "bump" is the vestige of the rail bed for a the grain elevator's rail siding. The tracks have since been removed, but not the old rail bed. There is a speed limit through town, and it's very likely why the rail bed was was left intact as a very large "speed bump" in the highway! The building on the left side of the highway with the white sign is the Sedalia Post Office.
